Munich, 28 February 2023 – With the acquisition of Luka – H. Weisheit GmbH & Co. KG, Vaventus AG will benefit from increased synergies in its own core business – Technical Building Equipment (TBE). The transaction supports the long-term growth strategy of Vaventus AG, especially in the Munich metropolitan region and in Bavaria. At the same time, the cooperation secures the long-term succession of Luka – H. Weisheit GmbH & Co. KG.

Luka – H. Weisheit GmbH & Co. KG is a family-owned company with headquarter in Munich, Germany, that specializes in ventilation and air-conditioning systems and operating in Bavaria. Over the past 50 years, the company has established itself as a reliable service provider, offering its customers not only plant engineering but also forward-looking planning of ventilation and air conditioning technology as well as first-class service.

Vaventus AG is based in Oberhaching and specializes in the acquisition of companies in the refrigeration, air conditioning and ventilation technology sector. In this context, the company focuses primarily on successful corporate succession and, with this approach, combines the advantages of the regional presence of the individual companies with the central management of the businesses. The aim is to become a leading group of companies in the future market of refrigeration, air conditioning and ventilation technology.

JB Business Consulting GmbH, Münster, an M&A consultancy specializing in corporate succession, initiated the transaction and acted as exclusive advisor to Luka – H. Weisheit GmbH & Co. KG on the seller side. Within the scope of the transaction, JB Business Consulting GmbH was able to demonstrate its special industry knowledge in the TBE sector and provided holistic lead support for the process. The process was supported by attorney Dr. Bastian Kornau, partner at the Dortmund-based law firm Becker + Partner, who contributed his broad expert knowledge during the contract negotiations.
